By RISD do you mean Richardson Independent School District?

Haha, the Rhode Island School of Design, I'm afraid. Didn't realize there was any other RISD ;)

haha, it's hard to say actually... this was one of those things where I'd work on it for 45 min, wait a week, poke it, etc.. But if I had to guess, probably like 7-8 hours total over the course of a month.

It's a good'un. Your perspective is different from the normal, and its worked really well, definitely creating a strong atmosphere. Your brush strokes have also created some really strong urban structure suggestions.

its good sir, its good

Beautiful web!!!! (though I can't see it properly due to my very low screen resolution :/)

Sam, this drawing is amazing, even though the perspective!! If you have the chance and the time some day you could make a little tutorial or a little "making-of" of some of your scenery illustrations :D

So glad to see you again round here!!!!

thanks. You're comments are always so nice :)

I'm sorry the website didn't work so well for you though. What sort of problem did you run into? And out of curiosity what browser do you use and what's your screen resolution. Might be something I can fix...

Not a problem, you're an amazing artist. And it amazes me so much how you draw many landscapes of my dreams and nightmares :)

My resolution is horrible because my screen is too old... It's 1024x768. Don't worry too much about it, because I'm probably the only one in the world who still have this resolution :/ So your web it's bigger than a "first glance" in my screen. I didn't see the second row of menus (matte - character - links). Actually I didn't notice them until I was browsing through the galleries.

I'm using Firefox 3.0.14. The web took quite long time to load. But that could be because I'm a bit short of memory lately too.

By the way, I also love the wind turbines. They make a perfect intro for your art concepts and style  And also love the simplicity of the dark tones of your web. It look so professional!

You certainly know how to boost my self-esteem :)
Thanks for the kind words as always.

For the site, I was already a little worried about the initial load time, so I'll try to see if I can get it to be any faster. Thanks for mentioning it, and for sharing your specs. I may shrink to a smaller resolution later, too. I was already considering it since I'm sure your not the only one with 1024x768 :)
