Ah, beautiful! It's almost photorealistic, but has a great style. I love how the clouds are quite crystalline and fractured – kind of like they're echoing the mountains. It gives a majestic yet stark impression. :)

I really like the nice hard-edges you get from the brush you're using. Can I ask how you are softening the edges where they need to be softened?

My family are headed back to Montana this summer, very sad I have to stick around in the midwest. ah well, one of these days. This is a beautiful rendition of the majestic landscapes back there. Make me homesick...

Usually just soft, round brushes. Sometimes flat, soft, textured brushes. I rarely use blur tools or effects and never on anything like this.
